The Gatekeeper Speaks
My bold and beauteous one, will you tend what you have started? The fires of creation have been sparked, the forms coming into being. Will you tend what you have started? Will you water it, cultivate it, tenderly hold and nurture it? Throughout this journey you have learned to hone your fire, to receive the guidance of water, to ground your fire so that it doesn’t flare and burn out too quickly. Here, will you tend what you have started?
My lovely one, the risk as you ascend is to try to move away from your building when it gets hard. Or when it gets boring. Are you willing to stay and tend in the midst of the mess, when it’s muddy and unglamorous? As you tend, slowly, surely, deepening to meet the challenges, you will see the tiny attunements that allow you to strengthen, deepen, hone, and anchor your creation, that allow your creation to have more substance. We are building to last, where structural soundness trumps speed.
As you build, you change. Throughout this ascent, you are consolidating a new way of being in the world. Where in your changing knowing of self, is there a need for tenderness and the kiss of attunement? My dear one, beautiful one, I give you this kiss. Be welcome in the change.

The Quality of Attunement
Green imbues Being’s openness with a transparent vulnerability. This vulnerable awareness points to the quality that the Green Essence represents for our Being—a sensitivity of consciousness. Consciousness requires sensitivity in order to feel, to experience, to be in touch with itself.
Our consciousness becomes delicate, supple, soft, and minutely considerate of what’s happening. It attains a refined, exquisite awareness, which we feel as a sensitivity. It is as if each atom of our soul had become a tendril, a nerve fiber that can sense and feel in a very delicate, subtle, refined way.

Ritual Space
Take some time to drop into ritual space as you receive the initiation of this gate. We step into liminal space, time out of time, in ritual space. We connect with the lineage of those who have watched the stars for millennia, receiving the gift of Venus's journey, aligning ourselves with the cycles that are already unfolding. We remember our nature as beings who cycle, change, transform. We remember how to receive knowing directly, rather than needing others to tell us what is so.
You may wish to create an altar, light a candle, and anoint yourself with oils. Sit with this gate, the quality of Essence that is being called forward. As you deepen in surrendering to receiving initiation, ask who would come to guide you in your journey with this quality of Essence? What of yourself do you offer in return? What is calling to be set down at this gate? What pattern, belief, way of being in this world, is challenged by this quality of Essence? What are you ready to release in order to deepen more fully in this journey?
What gift is revealed in the releasing of this pattern, belief, or way of being? What has more freedom to be itself in this release? You may see this directly, or may need to live with this initiation throughout the whole cycle and come back and answer this question before entering into the next gate. You may wish to draw cards to receive guidance in this way.
As you complete your experience in ritual space, take time to offer thanks and adoration to the archetype, to Venus, to your personal guide that arose for this journey, to your ancestors and lineage. Offer thanks to the land that holds and nourishes and grounds you. In the giving and receiving we remember our deep connectedness to all beings everywhere, throughout time and space.
Remember and Record
This cycle we are honoring the delicacy of growth, the tenderness of changing identity. We meet with Venus at the solar plexus gate, the gate of identity. As we build, we change. As the creative potency begins to take form, we notice the need for small micro attunements. As we commit to building, life initiates us, challenging us to apply what we are growing.
This is a delicate time. It would be easy to jump away at this time. The challenge is to stay. To slow down. To attune. To see with eyes of adoration. To allow what is, letting it fully be itself. How close to staying with what is Real can you be?
The qualities of Green and Gold support us here. The nourishment of the Earth, rising to meet us. The anchoring of Sun, of Truth, that holds us steady in tumult. Open to the heat of Gold, descending down to meet Green in the solar plexus.
We practiced honoring our land bodies, adoring the unique expression of self. In this time of change, connect back with yourself as land, and practice adoring. Receive Green and Gold as land.
For our daily building challenge this cycle, catch yourself living in alignment with your Why, What, and How. Last cycle we used the fuel of fire to initiate action. Here we use the cultivation of water to tend new growth.
