The Gatekeeper Speaks
My bold and beauteous One, you are now beginning to see what you are building. You have grounded your fire and are beginning to live your Passionate Purpose. And yet, how easy it is to step back, get frustrated, want it to be easy, to be different, to go faster. Your fire burns brightly and when the challenges arise in your building there is the temptation to fall back into old patterns, into rehearsing old stories of lack, powerlessness, disconnection.
To pass my gate you must speak what is true. No more rehearsing the outdated stories. That is no longer who you are. Who are you now, at this point of the journey? Will you own your growth? Will you own your gifts? Will you remember that all you need is already here? Will you speak what is true?
There is something here that is significant, meaningful, life-fulfilling, regardless of whether it’s joyful or painful. Because it is the truth. There is a fullness, a satisfaction, that doesn’t come any other way. There’s a part of us that is more here. Everything around us seems more real, more concrete, more embodied.

White Essence
The Quality of Integrity
To live the life of truth means first to value the truth, and to value knowing the truth. It also means to value the truth such that you make it the center of your life, which means learning to be genuine, authentic, and sincere. At its heart, living the truth is a matter of integrity and respect—for oneself, for others, and for truth itself. The more our life respects and reflects the truth that we know, the more it will take us to ever deeper dimensions of truth, of true nature. There is an interaction, an interrelationship, and an inseparability between understanding the truth and living life. We cannot really separate the two. We cannot be ivory-tower philosophers and expect to discover truth. It doesn't work that way because inquiry is a journey of truth-finding that constantly reveals the oneness of Being and life. Our spiritual philosophy must become an action philosophy. We have to let our souls become a manifestation of each truth we discover.

Ritual Space
Take some time to drop into ritual space as you receive the initiation of this gate. We step into liminal space, time out of time, in ritual space. We connect with the lineage of those who have watched the stars for millennia, receiving the gift of Venus's journey, aligning ourselves with the cycles that are already unfolding. We remember our nature as beings who cycle, change, transform. We remember how to receive knowing directly, rather than needing others to tell us what is so.
You may wish to create an altar, light a candle, and anoint yourself with oils. Sit with this gate, the quality of Essence that is being called forward. As you deepen in surrendering to receiving initiation, ask who would come to guide you in your journey with this quality of Essence? What of yourself do you offer in return? What is calling to be set down at this gate? What pattern, belief, way of being in this world, is challenged by this quality of Essence? What are you ready to release in order to deepen more fully in this journey?
What gift is revealed in the releasing of this pattern, belief, or way of being? What has more freedom to be itself in this release? You may see this directly, or may need to live with this initiation throughout the whole cycle and come back and answer this question before entering into the next gate. You may wish to draw cards to receive guidance in this way.
As you complete your experience in ritual space, take time to offer thanks and adoration to the archetype, to Venus, to your personal guide that arose for this journey, to your ancestors and lineage. Offer thanks to the land that holds and nourishes and grounds you. In the giving and receiving we remember our deep connectedness to all beings everywhere, throughout time and space.
Remember and Record
In this journey of descent and ascent, we have been called to hone our fire, to claim our passionate purpose through grounding our fire and magnetizing our flame. The ancient grandmother teaches Venus in Aries how to build. Not through forcing and pushing but rather through coherency, drawing all parts of ourselves into alignment so that we potently magnetize the unmanifest into the manifest.
At this point in the journey, begin speaking your Why, What, and How. Get comfortable describing it, to yourself and others. Speak it clearly and straight forwardly. Notice when you begin rehearsing what you don’t have, where you used to be, the old wounds, and notice what that dissonance feels like. Notice the power of what you say. And speak what is true.
Notice the difference between speaking what you want to have in your life, versus speaking what you know to be true. When I say “I am intimacy,” I draw to myself an environment where intimacy is celebrated. When I say “I want intimacy” I am identifying a lack. We start with our desires (sacral chakra) but we don’t stop there. Now it is time to own this as yours. This is magnetizing your flame.
We used the sounding of “zzzz” to activate the breath and the quality of alignment in our bodies. Play with this when you notice static arising in your field.
We explored partnering with a guide this cycle to help illuminate this places that fuzz out into dissonance. Work with this mirror to help you see and speak what is True.
