Love doesn’t want to be staunched, subverted, pinched, whittled down, coerced, guilted, defined and shamed, it simply wants to flow innocently into the authentic expression of the moment. Love isn’t meant to be lassoed, corralled and led like a packhorse, it’s meant to be a mustang, running flat out, nostrils flared joyfully open to smell all possibilities. When you try to hold love down and brand it, it may roll over and take it, but not for long, not in the spirit, and you just can’t possess or own love.
